Here's an amusing anecdote I call The Tomato Story":

A man goes to the supermarket, and is headed for the produce department to find a tomato. He approaches the tomatos and sees a lady there, who inspects each and every tomato (it seems) and after a minute selects one, and starts to leave. "Excuse me, maam!" says the man. "I see you've found the very best tomato there, could I ask you a favor? Which one did you find SECOND BEST?"

You see, in your searching for a home, you will find numerous properties, but you will only buy ONE. Other buyers will be interested in the extra homes.

Find or create a network of "interested parties" who may want to buy those other homes you find, and you will now be feeding your own network, who will, in turn, feed their great house finds to you!

Who could be a part of your team? Other local folks who are seeking to buy a home, realtors, lenders, and even investors who may want to buy homes at a bargain price. You could also post the home information on local bulletin boards, or on free classified websites.

Finding a great home can be quite a task, especially if you are working on a budget, or have some hurdles to overcome.

Helping the sellers of other homes you find can be a fun thing, and they will appreciate your efforts. What goes around comes around! Build your home team partnership now.
