Share Information

Do you know of any homes that are for sale with Special Terms like owner finance, lease option, rent to own, but the house just wasn't right for you? We need to work together to get you a great house, and I am going to tell you why we need your help.

Sellers usually advertise in a number of ways. Two, to be exact.

First, they put a cheap sign in the yard, and optimistically wait for the buyers to flood in. They don't always arrive in droves, though.

Second, after they have the tried the sign for a while, they will place a very small ad in the newspaper. (They don't yet know about FlexBuy, so they don't post here.) The ad tends to be expensive, and the seller won't run it long.

After the ad expires, they still have the sign in the yard, and no one is calling them anymore.

We need you to tell us about these homes with the FOR SALE BY OWNER signs. These homes ripen up into flexible, motivated sellers more than any other type.

Tell us about them and we will share the information with other buyers. Next time you visit us, we may have homes to view that were located by other members.

"Why doesn't Flexbuy just get all the newspaper ad listings and show you the homes?", you may ask. Or "Why doesn't Flexbuy contact all the sellers and get them to post their houses on the web site?"

Well, the papers don't share their ads, and if they did, it would still be an enormous task to get all this data. It would be extremely costly for us to reach all sellers or potential sellers and get them to post their house here. That just isn't in the cards, because we don't charge sellers or buyers. The main reason we don't go down that path is "THE BEST SELLERS ARE NOT FOUND IN THE NEWSPAPER. THE HAVE GIVEN UP ADVERTISING."

Would you join the community and share info on homes you find? You are only going to buy one, right? So tell us about the ones that don't seem right for you. Other buyers may have a fit. Plus, there is another situation that may arise... the seller may change their price or terms, and the house may suddenly become more attractive to you. We will try to stay in contact with the seller, and notify you if this happens!

So, will you help 'plant the seeds' for the next crop of flexible sellers, or will you just look for homes that are 'ripe' right now? We hope you will see the wisdom of the community that works together to find their ideal homes!
